Although this recipe is somewhat different from the traditional one, if you want to achieve a look similar to the usual French toast, you can mix powdered sweetener with oat bran and coat the French toast once they are toasted. RECIPE: HEALTHY TORRIJAS

Ingredients:


  • 2 Slices Brioche Bread

  • 150 ml. Vegetable drink (Rice and coconut)

  • 50 ml. Coconut cream

  • orange peel

  • lime skin

  • cinnamon stick

  • Coconut oil

  • Sweetener to taste (erythritol)



Preparation / Steps:


  1. Put to infuse the vegetable drink together with the skin of the citrus fruits, the coconut cream and the cinnamon stick. When it starts to boil, add the sweetener and reserve to temper.
