Our award-winning Maxi-Hair® formula, developed in collaboration with professionals and our NPD team in the UK, has been optimized in the concentrations of certain nutrients such as biotin and vitamin C. The mineral calcium has also been added, which has important functions in the body, and provides copper, which contributes to normal hair pigmentation. Healthy hair is a good sign of appearance, and this product provides 23 essential micronutrients that will help those whose diet does not provide adequate levels of vitamins and minerals. It is a product recommended for both women and men.

Proper nutrition is essential for the development and maintenance of the entire organism, which will also translate into healthy skin and hair.

The hair is inserted into the scalp, which is made up of the epidermis (with cells that produce the protein keratin), the dermis (with hair follicles, blood vessels, collagen, among others) and the hypodermis (formed by connective tissue, blood vessels and fat-storing cells). The hair, on the other hand, is made up of a stem, root and follicle. At the bottom of the follicle we find the papilla, which contains blood vessels that nourish the hair root. Through cell division, cells are constantly produced, whose accumulation and keratinization give rise to the hair stem. The hair is made up of 95% keratin, a protein formed by chains of amino acids.

The benefits provided by this formulation are:

• Some B vitamins, along with biotin, contribute to the maintenance of normal skin, hair and nails. The levels of B vitamins and magnesium exceed the amounts found in typical multis on the market. Inositol (as myo-inositol) is closely associated with the B vitamin complex, and is one of nine different types of inositol (often referred to as vitamin B8). It is produced in the body and is also the most commonly found form in nature, in foods such as: fruits, whole legumes, dried prunes, brewer's yeast and nuts.
• Vitamin D (as D3) is present in twice the level of most other vitamin and mineral products. This nutrient contributes to the normal absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus, to the maintenance of normal levels of calcium in the blood, bones, muscles and teeth, as well as to the normal functioning of the immune system, among others.
• Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative damage.
• Vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting and the maintenance of normal bones.
• Vitamin C contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system, to the normal formation of collagen for the normal functioning of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, skin, to the functioning of the nervous system, to reducing tiredness and fatigue, among other functions.

Precautions

This product contains iron, which, if taken in excess, may be harmful to very young children. Keep out of their sight and reach.

A dark yellow color of the urine is normal. This is harmless and indicates that the body is using Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) effectively.
