The name Calcium Pantothenate, or pantothenic acid, comes from the Latin word “panthos,” which means everywhere. This nutrient is also known as vitamin B5 and is found in many foods, such as fish, poultry, whole grains, yogurt, etc. and legumes are the best sources of pantothenic acid.
Pantothenic acid is a component of coenzyme A, essential for the release of energy from food.
