Contraindications
The use of harpago is contraindicated in cases of gastric and duodenal ulcers. Mild and transient gastrointestinal symptoms may appear, such as diarrhea, flatulence, nausea and vomiting. Avoid in active hemorrhagic states or when taking anticoagulant treatments, as abdominal pain and indigestion, unpleasant taste, tingling sensation, among others, may occur. Do not use in children under 6 years of age.
Drug Interactions and Others
Caution is recommended in concomitant use with oral antidiabetics, hypotensives, warfarin and other blood thinners (tansy).
