Umbreliferone is a highly diuretic substance present in good quantities in Vellosilla, a plant that, due to its properties, has earned the name of natural super-drainer.
Vellosilla acts on the renal tubules, stimulating the secretion of waste, chlorine, sodium and water. This action does not cause any irritation to the kidneys; on the contrary, it represents the best remedy against urinary calculosis, especially when its action is amplified by that of the herb Stonebreaker, which has always been known and used in central Italy.
The stonebreaker herb has been tested by various researchers interested in its resolving power on calculosis and the results have shown that the use of the stonebreaker has positive effects in 94% of cases.
Ursine is also often used to protect the urinary tract and to prevent pathologies such as urethritis, acute cystitis, chronic cystitis and colibacillosis.
Sarsaparilla has a strong diuretic, hypoazotemic and azoturic action, all qualities naturally aimed at detoxifying the body and increasing the elimination of catabolites and urinary uric acid. Sarsaparilla is an excellent phytodepurative, capable of counteracting the accumulation of heavy metals in the body.
To neutralize hepatobiliary conditions, Fumaria is widely used, which combines a mild diuretic action with many properties capable of resolving difficult digestion, constipation, meteorism, halitosis and biliary dyspepsia.
To eliminate excess water from the kidneys, the qualities contained in the Asparagus root are useful; its draining action is provided by saponins, capable of producing an irritating effect at the level of the renal epithelium with the consequent increase in urinary secretion.
Orthosiphon is also used to stimulate diuresis, which is necessary to combat bacterial infections that can affect the urinary tract. Orthosiphon combines its diuretic action with important anti-inflammatory properties capable of accelerating the healing process.
The extract of the adult Rosa Canina plant has a hypoglycemic and diuretic action, to which is added the vitamin content, provided by the extremely varied nutritional picture of the plant.
Blackcurrant leaves are also diuretic, as well as anti-rheumatic. Blackcurrant is a complete plant, from which beneficial essential oils can be extracted from the buds and the fruits, as well as from the leaves. The latter are particularly rich in triterpenes and polyphenols, capable of purifying the body, eliminating toxins and lowering bad cholesterol levels in the blood. Its diuretic action depends largely on the presence of essential oil, which enables the renal epithelium to free itself from most of the excess fluids and slags contained in them.
