Milk thistle (Silybum marianum) is one of the most commonly used plants in cleansing diets. Its main component is silymarin, a mixture of flavanolignans whose main components are silybin, silicristin and silidianin. To ensure that the extract used is of quality, it must be standardized in silymarin.
Betusil provides a standardized extract of milk thistle of the highest quality, with 200 mg of silymarin, to meet the levels of the reference monographs.
